Our History

"Do what you promise, do it with boundless effort, and always try to improve yourself" was the remarkable quote that accompanied Antea Group when its story started in 1951. A company where around 3,300 engineers and consultants enjoy working together every day to make our world a little bit better.

Proud of our heritage

From Oranjewoud, the Frisian brothers Jan and Freek Bosma combined their go-getting mentality with knowledge and versatility. As a result, Antea Group quickly became an attractive partner for governments and businesses. Thus, we have broadened our horizons and pushed our boundaries.

At the heart of society

In 2005 Gerard Sanderink took over our company. We became one of the largest consultancy and engineering firms in the Netherlands. This transformation included our current name: Antea Group. We are at the heart of society and work with governments, companies, and residents. Thanks to our proficient mindset and a comprehensive approach, we find valuable solutions for the challenges of today and those of tomorrow.
