The scientific and industrial partnership agreement signed between Rob van Dongen, CEO & member of Antea Group Board, and Philippe Freyssinet, Director for Strategy and Research at BRGM, aims to develop new applications, new products or new services in R&D common areas of interest of both parties.

June 14, 2019 - The French geological survey BRGM and the engineering and environmental consulting firm Antea Group signed on June 13th in Orléans (France) a major Scientific & Industrial Partnership Agreement.

The synergies between the French geological survey (BRGM) and Antea Group engineering and environmental consulting firm are numerous in the fields of water and environment. Therefore, the two parties have been closely cooperating for several years. The partnership signed on June 13th will strengthen this long-term cooperation.

The scientific and industrial partnership agreement signed between Rob van Dongen, CEO & member of Antea Group Board, and Philippe Freyssinet, Director for Strategy and Research at BRGM, aims to develop new applications, new products or new services in R&D common areas of interest of both parties.

The projects of cooperation between BRGM and Antea Group will fall within the following themes:

  • Development of digital services for surface and subsurface resources
  • Zones between surface and groundwater (Vadose zone)
  • Recovery of materials from excavated soil
  • Wastewater reuse
  • In-situ soil remediation
  • Waste storage facilities
  • Earthquakes behavior and extreme solicitation
  • International business development.

This strategic partnership was signed in presence of François Bonneau, President of the Centre-Val de Loire French Region and Olivier Carré, Mayor of Orleans City & President of Orleans Metropole during the Innovation Awards ceremony of Antea Group. The agreement is valid for a period of three years and can be renewed to develop sustainable synergies and provide both parties with assets to meet their strategic objectives.
