With more than 300 sessions around the theme of this year: Building Resilience Faster, this event aims to develop solutions to address climate change and other water-related challenges. As an entire online held event and thanks to its convening organizations, all sessions will be available free of charge to registered participants.
During the event, different Antea Group experts from various countries will be available to discuss your water needs, explain the scope of Antea Group services, talk about the accomplished international, and answer questions. Antea Group will also host two training sessions:
Water savings and water stewardship in industries: return on experience; this session will be held on August 24 at 17:00 (CET). In this session, Nadia Jebbour and Katherine Ringo, water experts, will present a proven methodology that includes comprehensive diagnosis, water consumption mapping, technical and economic assessment. This methodology enables industrial sites to identify and prioritize pragmatic actions for reducing their water consumption.
RISCOPE project: A Risk-based Early Warning System for Coastal Flooding; this presentation will be hosted on August 27 at 14:30 (CET). Throughout this session, the participant will discover the powerful bottom-up approach of the RISCOPE method, which takes as a starting point key information for decision making. It allows producing targeted warnings while identifies all the scenarios that may lead a flood to exceed given thresholds, integrating the complexity of coastal flood processes. The session will be held together with BRGM. It will be run by Déborah Idier, Axel Aurouet, and Alexandre Thibault.
The World Water Week is an excellent opportunity to discover the efforts of experts around the world to provide sustainable water solutions for both the public and private sectors. It also aims to find long-term solutions to make water available for every person on the planet.
